PAPILLON COURSE on THYROID ULTRASOUND

Basic Course

Home

Dear Participant, Dear Colleague,

thank you for joining to the Basic Online Papillon Course which officially starts on September 15 and ends on November 30, 2022. The course is endorsed by the European Thyroid Association.

The goals of the Basic Course are to become able to find the thyroid on ultrasound, to identify the most important ultrasound characteristics and to learn their role in the diagnosis of nodular goiter.

Those who complete the course, first, will be able to find the ultrasound in a live patient, and can start with the practice of live ultrasound examinations. Second, they will be prepared to learn the much more complex learning material of the Advanced Online Course which covers the entire thyroid ultrasound and related topics.

If you are visiting this page for the first time, be sure to read the brief instructions which can be reached by the three buttons in the left column. These are Must read, Technical help and the How to do it? parts.

If you have been already familiar with these recommendations, you can start with the studying of the subchapters which are enlisted in the left column. A test right away. If the layout of the page is such that the individual chapters are not displayed one below the other in a column on the left, you are probably reading these lines from a mobile phone or tablet. As we pointed out (see Must read), certain information may be lost when using these tools. So, we ask everyone to use a laptop or PC or MAC if possible.

If you have any problem, please, do not hesitate to send me a message to the official e-mail of the Papillon Course, to papillon2022-23@thyrosite.com.

We really hope that the 2.5 months of the course will be useful and fruitful for you.
